No marks at the bottom. Pinched 6x around the bowl. IMG_1869.jpg IMG_1867.jpg

    Welcome, Martin.
None of the above, but possibly provincial ware. Could we see the inside?

Could be, the last one looks like it has more of a flange. Optical illusion maybe?

Also the blue color of the inner bowl appears to go over the lip .. not present on the first bowl .. Joy.

It's one bowl. There is a lip. Optical illusion folks... let me post more pix.
As I said, the bowl is also pinched but I can not capture that in an image. Here's the interior:

Not a Chinese style I know, possibly Korean. Gorgeous blue.
    Maybe @Mat recognizes it.

Ok... well, thanks for forwarding it along to @Mat! It is a deep rich beautiful blue that's for sure.

    It made me think Persian.

That is where it started. The others in Asia, and in Europe, got it from the Persians.;)

Now I'm really confused! Google image search for an antique blue white bowl leaves me next to nothing similar at all. I guess I'm just going to describe it as "possibly anything from Persian to Chinese" for my eBay listing LOL

You can leave out Persian, it isn't. Asian is always good when you don't know what it is.

I should have prefaced my statement with, "I am not a pottery person."

It still looks Persian to me, but I wouldn't take my word for it.

Of course, "Asian" covers Iran, so I'm good. :p

With that foot and the decoration on the outside it is definitely Japanese, I guess from the beginning of the 20th c.
