I bought this guy from an estate auction of a couple whom traveled all over the world.

He is missing the flute, if he even ever had one as I see no chipped areas where his hands would have held one.
His legs are sunk into a block of wood.
I can not tell if he broke, was miscast, or if this is an original design.
Someone took the time to carve the wood perfectly to fit him.

I believe he's older due to the paint on his eyes (if that's even an indicator).

Can anyone give me any information, a time period, or valuation on him?

It's smaller than 12". Maybe 6-8" and weighs a good bit for its size.

Thanks. We on this site normally don't do valuations but in this case I can tell you that although similar items that are considered collectible can sell for good money, yours isn't collectible IMO. As a damaged item that's not worth repairing the market for it is very limited. Maybe offer it at a yard sale for a low two-digit price. These things aren't in my area of expertise, but I see a lot of this stuff here and there, and this one I don't think would be much in demand.
