I have a Lane Vista Cedar Chest here with a style number of 02452-3 and serial number 056101. Pictures Included. Ive been researching it hoping to sell it if anyone has any information and possible estimate of what i should list it on sites for would be great. Thank you in Advance. Its in very good shape the top lid is a little weathered but everything else is pristine.

Supposedly you take the serial number backwards for the production date (there do seem to be some exceptions to the rule).

So it was built on: Oct. 16, 1950

MCM chests tend to do fairly well. Value is dependent on where you are and how selling. If it were mine in my semi-rural Midwest location, I would price this somewhere under $200.00 and list it on facebook marketplace or craigslist. If the top were in better shape, it could be worth more. You might do better or worse depending on where you live.
