Large 30" Middle Eastern Arabic Tinned Copper Tray Signed

Can anyone identify this beautiful, oversized Hand Chased Tinned Middle East Copper Tray? It is signed on the back which I have never seen anywhere else on the internet, nor can I find any of this size. It is a beautifully produced piece with a fine patina. Any idea of origin or worth? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You! [

It is a beautifully made Persian tray. Excellent quality. Just imagine the time it took to make it.
They are often seen on stands like the one i need help showed, but stands are not mandatory. So your tray is not missing a stand, but it would be a nice display suggestion.

It's a beautiful tray. I wish there was somebody here who could read the signature.

 

I am enclosing a picture of the base. I was hoping this tray was an antique and that the base was made to fit the art, but maybe not.

I agree; the stand likely added later. It is a nice tray, but probably produced for sale rather than use by locals. 1960s?

 

That’s a story tray, tells some usually biblical story around the rim, will be a well-known religious story. I have one with story of Joseph. If one of the scenes shows a guy being thrown down a well, that’s Joseph. I’ve asked a friend to get a reading on the signature, and Im guessing it’ll come back as Mohammad or so, telling you nothing unfortunately.

I took my Joseph tray to a professor of Middle-Eastern culture or something like that, and he broke the code right away. I got another translated by an Imam at a mosque. Here in DC area there are middle-Eastern people everywhere.
