I found this last week outside the door of a thrift store i go to regularly, it was with a stack of others all priced between $2 and $10 (my piece) that the store was trying to move so they could bring out new ones they'd gotten.

I believe it is hand painted, not a print?

Does anyone know the artist (ie is he a known artist)? Are the characters his name or the title?

The logo(?) of the 2 headed viking ship under his signature/title - anyone know what it stands for?

    Thoughts on the painting?

Thanks for your help as always!

I think more likely to be a print than an original painting.

Jivvy the research is my favorite

I think the boat is more likely a dragon boat than viking.

Quite lovely (and expensive) custom matting and framing. Would have come out of the home of someone with taste. And that's a dragon, I think, not a Viking ship.
