Large Art Glass Fish Figurine - Murano? Other Italian? Chinese?

    Hello Friends - I am seeking opinions on this art glass fish. It measures about 12" in length. I considered the possibility it was Chinese but the silver foil (correct term?) in the body of the fish is confusing me. I hadn't thought the Chinese were doing that yet. I ran it by the Murano Facebook page and while it generated a lot of likes I wasn't able to get any real information on it. I also checked the Murano Zoo page without success. Any input regarding this fish would be much appreciated. Thank you!
