Large Bowl with Red and Gold Staining

Hello everyone! I don't know why I'm attracted to these types of items - they seem to be almost impossible for me to ID. Good thing I've got you folks to help me! This bowl measures about 12 1/2" across and 3 1/4" high. It seems unusually light for it's size - if you judged it by its weight you'd swear it was plastic but it is actually glass. Any help or opinions on this bowl would be much appreciated. Thanks all!

The style is similar to what's called Mondrian... where abstract "doodles" have filled-in spaces. The artist, Piet Mondrian did more geometric shapes, though... will go see if I can find a "swirlier" design... I made up another English word, dang it.

 

I've seen quite a few of these and they're very recent. Eastern Europe, I think. Nice.

 

I see these from time to time. The color is stained, correct?

I seem to recall it's one of the giftware import companies, like Mikasa or Studio Nova. I tried a few searches on Replacements, but came up empty.

Wow - thank you all! UncleChuckTX found it and it is stained! And ownedbybear, Eastern Europe makes sense. There were several other items at the auction from that area. And, of course, Gila, thanks for your suggestions and I hope "swirlier" catches on! If it does we know who to credit!
