I got this large ladle during a clean out - there was nothing there that it could have gone with. It's 12" long.
Does anyone recognize this, or is it studio pottery, almost impossible to id?
    Soup or punch?

I don't think it's studio pottery. Looks old to me.

I believe punch ladles generally have a spout. I think this is a soup ladle. The blue glaze pooling would be indicative of mid to late 1800s, as would the way the stem is attached to the bowl.
