Hi, I found this what I believe to be a hammered copper pitcher. I want to make sure it's not brass and I am hoping someone can help me identify what area of the world it may be from. It appears to be hand made but there are no marks on it so if anyone can make an estimate on the age that would be helpful too. It is very heavy at 6.5 pounds and is 14" tall. Thanks in advance for any help.

Definitely looks like red copper to me. Other more knowledgeable members will know more about age and possible origin looking at the construction details.
