Featured Large glass cup/chalice - trophy shaped - where from?

    This is fairly heavy, 10" tall at the rim, 11 1/2" tall at the top of the handles. Base has a highly polished pontil, and some substantial wear where it sits. Top rim is rounded - don't know if it might have ever had a lid, but I suspect not - the rounded rim doesn't have any wear typical of having a lid. Any ideas where from?

    I'd describe that shape as a footed amphora.

    great photos, I am extremely jealous. I also first thought of a trophy vase when I saw it. Pretty.

    Thanks everyone for the compliments on my photos - I do try to present the stuff I post on here in a manner that allows folks to actually see and understand what the item is, and what it really looks like. It takes a little work but is well worth it!
