Kind of looks like the AH sunflower but isn’t that pattern with textured surface? Also, I think they don’t have those two “nipples” under the flower.
Don’t know what sizes the AH pieces come in but this is about 13” tall.
Btw, is that a pontil scar or a machine blown mark?

It may have been machine blown, (I doubt it) but someone turned the top rim by hand. It's folded in.

Could be from the town of Empoli Italy. Stelvia did some mold blown pieces, but haven't found this shape attributed to them.

Aren’t Empoli pieces relatively thin walled and lightweight? This is a bit on the heavy side.

Interesting, I never knew Husted designed for Stelvia. I’ll look into that lead.

Well, I’ve asked at the 2 Blenko Facebook groups and they have no idea. Been searching Empoli pieces as well but no match either.
I guess I’ll put it on the back burner for now.

I wasn't going to comment about this item, because I really don't know. But when I first opened this thread a couple days ago, I thought, "what a very nice piece of Mexican glass, I wonder if it had a cork lid at one time". FWIW, my musings on this jar.

I don’t know. Not sure if that design is common for Mexican glass.
