I am 99.9% sure this is not old, but I didn't know where else to put it.
It is 11 3/4" across & is 5 5/8" to the side edge.
I was wondering if anyone knew what the tag means.
I have tried searching for that but have been unsuccessful.
Also what kind of horn is this?
I am also assuming the price tag was a pipe dream since this was brought into the auction house by a dealer.
I wanted the other item that they had with this bowl, but before I do anything with it I wanted to make sure it was nothing. :p:happy:

Id guess a salad bowl from world imports or Pier one , circa 1979 . :)

    Wellllllllllllll...
    Is this related?
    Buffalo Horn Accented Bowls?

Possibly, but I didn't see any with the small mosaic pieces like this one.

Id guess a salad bowl from world imports or Pier one , circa 1979 .

That may also be possible, but the inside material is somewhat porous so I would thing putting any type of oil based dressing in it would not be a good idea. Also getting it clean with that nailed on metal trim might be problematic.
