Large mug like- Burleigh?

Hi all,trying to identify this (was thinking it would be easier) It is marked Bassora B&L. I like the Chinese scene. It’s a pretty thing but cracked all over and almost falling apart. Is it maybe Burleigh? And Bassora is the design? Pattern?(Look I don’t know) What would be the age of this? Looks fairly old to me. It stands 12cm tall and base is 12,5cm wide. Burgess & Leigh, you are correct that they later used Burleigh Ware as a trade name. B&L first recorded use is 1862, and the style of this looks fairly close to that period imo.

That’s a good question and comment.Thanks for that. I wasn’t considering that,but I now think it’s likely (but don’t know for sure) Maybe some other more knowledgeable members will confirm..
