large vintage pop art ? portrait painting

found this the other day for a pound

its hand painted, not stenciled, you can see each brush stroke

30 inches by 24

im thinking maybe farrah fawcett, but unsure

its been screwed on to something

i think more display, unsure

any thoughts appreciated

 

if it is...it should have more hair...that gal had HAIR !!!

She reminds me a bit of Candy Dulfer, the Dutch saxophone player who worked with Prince:

I swear I know that face, the eyes and smile are very familiar. I think it was an actress from awhile back 70s? 80s? Not Farrah that I'm thinking of. I'll work on it (not that it probably matters but it's bugging me)

 

I first saw her on stage when she was about 16, she was already quite a talent (and beauty) then. Her father is a well-known jazz musician (and car salesman) here in the Netherlands, she started her career with his band.
