Large imperfect balls bigger than a standard large playing marble. Threaded on metal "string" and metal bead "knots" that appears to be silver. Unmarked. I may have posted this before, but couldn't find any record of doing so. Probs from 1980s-1990s

It doesn't look like larimar to me. Besides, larimar is only found in the Dominican Republic, and this doesn't look a Dominican R style.
The necklace is from somewhere in Asia, imo, possiby India.
    Very nice necklace.

Thanks Any Jewelery. It came in lot with a necklace that I know is Larimar, but this one looked different. These two are in my personal collection the other not sure I am keeping. The other one is turquoise. DSC_0848.JPG DSC_0847.JPG

The first necklace looks like low-grade larimar. It could also be another blue and white stone, but I forget the name. The one in the last shot is much better quality.

How about rough, natural Amazonite from India? Screenshot 2025-01-22 at 3.44.39 PM.png

Both are beautiful, I would be tempted to keep those too. Mind you, I also like the first one.
Slightly less rough, but yes, amazonite did cross my mind.;) If you have a tester, amazonite is 6 on the Mohs scale.

THe name I was trying to come up with is Lazurite. It gets made into beads, some rather large, and it can be greenish. That's according to my gem books anyway. If you google it, it's royal blue . Very strange.

Maybe... usually wear the Larimar or turquoise when I want to wear blue opaque stones.
