I like the sound it makes as much as anything. Betcha I could come up with a look-alike that makes that sound and have 'em made in China for about $17. Each. Sell 'em quick for big money using that video then skip town, having bought time by warning of dire consequences if the batteries aren't charged for 72 hours before the first use!

Is it cheaper than a wire brush?

    Hi,
I could have used that on the 2000 ft of church fencing that me and 12 helpers did on 130 year old church.

No, but speaking of those, currently my best recommendation for rust is a cheap electric angle grinder that runs at about 11,000 rpm, the grinding disc replaced by a circular knotted wire wheel. Under $20. At outlets like Harbor Freight. Use outside, with eye protection and respirator, and with the side handle installed so you can hold it with both hands.

    I'd endorse that.

That does sound a bit cheap for an angle grinder that is any real use for anything.

The ad at this link has a video you can watch but the idiot actor hasn't a clue and is grinding against the high side of the cut, a totally unprofessional dumba$$.

He also forgot to say that a spare set of carbon motor brushes is included. When using circular wire brushes I removed the metal shield so the brush could spin freely. Wear work gloves.

Wouldn't that laser 'zapper' be pretty easy on cleaning your rusty ole cannons Spring??:rolleyes::smuggrin::rolleyes::joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful:

That grinder and also the spare discs just look crazy cheap. I never used to wear gloves because the broken off pieces of wire and flying crud embedded in the skin made them look rugged. :)

I watched a YouTube video of a guy using a plastic bucket full of water, a car battery and some wires. It seemed to work quite well.
