This will be my last lamp for awhile, promise! I’m curious about this one, as the base is very pretty with a floral motif
and feels like cast iron. The wiring terrifies me and it is very rusty and looks like lead would be in there somewhere. I would like to try to repurpose it for something but just wondering if anyone has seen something like this before? There is a small 3 digit number printed on the underside of the base and “Hubbell” on the on/off switch but that’s all I can make out!

Magnet is a simple test to see if it is iron or not.

It's going to be circa 1915 - 25..... has a nice Hubbell socket with paddle switch & press fit socket which came in about 1912. Someone has re wired it but it should be done again. Base should be iron since it's showing rust. Nice antique base worth fixing IMO.
