Lava Bowl ?

I have this bowl that has like a lava finish on it but isn’t signed and wondered if anyone recognises the style .It’s dark green inside light outside with dark heave textured finish.Bowl is 8 inches across by 4 inches high.

 

It's certainly West German. Maybe Scheurich.

 

Wouldnt lava have a more bumpy texture? This almost looks sponge painted to me.

 

Thanks for the replies , Will try to find similar examples and narrow it down.There’s finished glaze inside dark green and lots of crazing and a firing crack on the bottom.Thought the shape might be useful in identifying and it does feels rough on the outside of bowl .

 

This is a very old posting but it resembles the "birch bark" affect which was popularized amongst Dutch ceramists by Pieter Groeneveldt, a famous Dutch potter during the 1960s and 70s, and many of his peers copied the affect.
