What would be the age of this letter holder and what kind of metal is it? I tried to polish it, but it doesn't clean well. It is stamped, made in Italy. Thanks! 2007-10-23 05.48.22 (2).jpg 2007-10-23 05.48.53 (2).jpg 2007-10-23 05.49.19 (2).jpg 2007-10-23 05.50.01 (2).jpg

Would think 50s-60s. Looks to be brass. May not polish easily due to being lacquered.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I like the form on this, and would use it if I had it.

its brass....and most likely lacquered to prevent tarnish....please don't try and polish it because if you are to rough and "break" the lacquer finish, you will have a spotty piece on your hands
