Hoping someone can tell me more about this lighter I found. LEUCHARS PICCADILLY LONDON marked on bottom. I know the company started in early 1800s and the name changed a few times. The company won several prestigious awards and was given the Royal Warrant to make dress casings for the royal family. Im guessing the marking on top with the lion and cross may have something to do with that? Im also interested to know what the circle that spins outward on the bottom is for. So far I havent found anything that looks similar or anything about the company making lighters. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Can't say I have ever seen a lighter that looks like this.

The mechanism on the bottom looks like the three sections would articulate outward so as to make a three-footed base/stand to give the unit stability when sitting on a surface.

I wondering if the round part on the bottom opens somehow. Maybe one could use interchangeable seals, if that’s what it is.

Hmmm, very unusual. It just reminds me of a cigarette/lighter combo. Nice though.

I don't see how this is for melting sealing wax, and I don't think it's a cigarette lighter.

We need more (and better) photos of it, to determine what it is, and what it do.
