LG Silver chandelier or Candle Holder Base and stem only help Id embossed marking

These chandelier holders are 10" X 5" and 14" X 5".
What Are they the base for ?
What do all these symbol mean?

The one looks to be a candlestick converted for electric lamp fittings. The other is missing the candle cup. Others should be able to help with the marks.

 

They appear to be silver plated copper.

 

Those pseudo-marks mean probably American, definitely not English.

How long is the threaded part sticking up? I'm guessing that's what Brad was referring to when he said "converted for electric lamp fittings." It is also possible that there were a couple different "arms" that attached there, having different numbers of candle cups.

 

Look to me like they were converted to lamps too...

As Bakersgma suggests, the candlesticks are almost certainly American, silverplate on copper. We've seen various combinations of marks that appear to be from the same maker - most likely New York based F. & M. Weintraub/Weintraub Plated Ware Co./Weintraub-Sheffield Silver Co., a jobber active in the first couple of decades of the 20th century. They were sued by Gorham for trademark infringement, and accused of using deceptive marks on their plated wares, claiming the different marks were applied at request of retailers...
