14203437_10210793703706968_374573380_o.jpg I would like to put some LED lighting in this cabinet without drilling a bunch of holes.
I would like one that would softly light up each shelf without having to drill a hole behind each shelf. Battery would be fine but would prefer electric.
One hole for a power supply would be fine.
I have some LED tape strips but those are going to require large splicers to go from one shelf to the other. Which, would require drilling a large hole behind each shelf to put the splicers through, down the back, and then back underneath the next shelf. I'm not happy with having to drill those large of holes in a beautifully preserved piece like this.
I could just remove those wooden shelves, put in glass shelves and lights in the top.? I don't know about that one either. I like the wood shelves.
    Any non-invasive suggestions?
    Thanks.

Depending on where you live - Home depot has small LED flexible light strips than can be attached under your shelves so all you can see is the light - not the light strip. You might have to figure out how to run the cord to an outlet!

Don't "they" have those self stick strips that you could put on the underside of each shelf in the back? And don't they have a remote for on/off.....that should give you some subtle lighting for each shelf...I think the strips are small enough I don't think they'd really show.......well, it's a thought anyway.............actually what Rayo56 just said above me, but without a cord!

Battery lights are going to drive you nuts but if you don't use them a lot you may retain your sanity.
If you won't put holes anywhere then consider attaching, by double stick tape, or even light dabs of removable silicone, small 'aprons' to the underside of the shelf fronts to hide the LED strips, pucks or whatever design you use.
I generally don't like the blue light 'white' LEDs put out so you might consider a translucent shield of some type to reduce this.

    Thanks for everyone's reply.
I've decided to go with these lights.
They are wired but the wires are small.
I don't plan on reselling or moving this cabinet. So having a couple of small holes in it to use a display seems to be a fair tradeoff.
These are really thin profile lights, .4 inch.
So they shouldn't be too invasive.

    Here are those lights installed.
    It worked out perfectly.
This project is done except arranging the stuff inside.
