Limoges demitasse cup and saucer

Hello everyone. At a local thrift store I found a Limoges Puiforcat demitasse cup and saucer. It is the perfect size for espresso, so I got it. It was in a cup and saucer section, and it had the date it was stocked on the shelf. I was surprised to see that it had been there a while, because it was competitively priced (there were some from discount stores that cost the same). I had always thought that Limoges was expensive.

I presume Chen Yang is the pattern. How old is it, and is this a relatively unpopular line? What does Puiforcat mean? I’ve seen a few other examples online but I didn’t get a sense of how old this is. It’s pretty delicate.

You do know that Limoges is not a company. It is a region in France where there were & are many companies that make porcelain using the clay from that region. This looks like everyday dishes rather than the fine china you may be thinking of like was made by Haviland or Tressemanes & Vogt.
