Limoges Egg Shape Trinket Box

    Hand painted and signed. Original label and Made In France on bottom. Any opinions on age?

    Older than many. With that sort of paper label I'd be thinking 50 years old or close to it. What's interesting is the monochrome paint. The ones that sold left and right later were usually fancy colors.

    Based on the pasted on label, I'd put it even earlier, pre-WWII.

    I wouldn't be too surprised. The rest doesn't "feel" that old though; they may have used a pre-War stash of labels sitting on a factory shelf.
