All I can make out is the lower part Lord & Taylor Limoges France.
The lighter part Is an Evans made in Japan? 100_7917.JPG 100_7916.JPG 100_7922.JPG 100_7925.JPG 100_7921.JPG

"Decor Main pour Paris-Style" and "Spécialement pour Lord & Taylor Limoges France" is what I read. (Could be wrong.) Sweet. 1960s to my eye. Would have had a matching ashtray and perhaps a cigarette holder.

    You're right.:)
Which means it was made for Lord & Taylor by one of the Limoges porcelain manufacturers.

Of course she's right lol. I never doubt @Debora .
The piece is signed but probably would never be able to identify the artist?

The piece is signed but I'd think by a factory decorator rather than an artist. Not sure identifying same would add value to your piece.

An associate of The 'Lighter Club of Great Britain' pulled-up the patent files of an obscure an 1869 electric ignition lamp/cigar lighter I have.I'd typed the patent numbers & inventors name in repeatedly and only found 2-3 pages,he pulled up way more-magic.
Now a concept this simple may have not needed a patent. You could also simply contact L&T or Limoges. Some older well established firms have company history departments.

Limoges is a place not a company.

Hand decorated by Paris-Style specially for Lord & Taylor Limoges France. I would think that it is maybe a decorating company called Paris-Style.

Could be the importer's name, not the manufacturers.

@kentworld may have it. I'm seeing pieces described as by or painted by "Paris Style"

I should've stated that I directly translated the French on the base.
