I bought this because it intrigued me. It is obviosly a serving dish, but for what type of food?:confused: My best guess was asparagus.:rolleyes:

Koch & Braunstein was in operation c.1890's. From what I can see there seems to be a market for pieces with their mark, but I would like to ID the Limoges mark also. I didn't see one like them in my Kovel's book.

It is 12 3/4" by 9 3/4" across the bottom platter, 8 3/4" by 5 1/4" across the part with the holes & 4 1/8" to the side edge.

I would agree with asparagus - BUT! the last time I made a pompous, self-assured pronouncement on a perforated stand with a liner it turned out to be a soap dish, so........................

Thank you again for your help!!:kiss:

I understand why I could not find the triangle mark in my Kovel's. Silly me I looked in the geometric shapes section. I did not notice there was a "triangles & hearts" section.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::p:p:p
