I see this is "Lincoln School" would anyone have any idea of where this school might have been/be located at? TIA! No info on the backside.

Not a lot to go on there. That's likely the state flag though. With a bit of imagination, you may be able to identify it furled. And, Lincoln may be the name of the community as well as the school.

Something odd there. Flag pole is so high (and dangerous too.)

And when you say no information on the backside do you mean... The backside is blank?

Correct, the only thing on the backside of the postcard, is the normal "Postcard" "Correspondence Here" and "Name and Address Here" Which is all blank

That's no information! That's one of the ways that postcards are dated. Please post a photograph.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Where does it say Lincoln School -- above the door?

I could swear it looks like the first word starts with a T. But you have it in hand and the picture posted doesn't pick up the details well. Flatbed scanners are excellent for bringing out small details in photographs.

Anyway, there are a Lot of Lincoln Schools out there. (There is one in the town where I live, for example.) You can narrow down to the US, for sure ... and the dates that Debora found for the stamp box on the postcard might help. The idea of looking at the flag to figure out the state might help as well. And maybe a lot of luck. Not sure if it would be worth the effort, though!

Barn in the background indicates a rural community. There must be dozens of Lincoln Schools around the country. I'm fairly certain that there was a Lincoln School in Manchester NH when my mother was growing up in the 20's (the OTHER 20s')
