    From my collection.

This is a 1961 Canadian American Records first pressing of Linda Scott/Starlight Starbright LP. This is one of the “sweetest” records ever!

The interesting thing about this LP....it was made on the rare Canadian American label which ceased to operate sometime in the late 1960’s, and Canadian American had offices in both New York and Winnipeg, I live only a few minute walk away from the historic Confederation Building where their Winnipeg offices were. I see all kinds of history around me everyday.

**note that every song on this album has the word “Star” in it!

I do remember the song but ALL I can remember is ...
    Starlight, Starbright ...
First star I see tonight ...

It’s like listening to peppermint candy singing.

Just in case anyone was confused by the video clip, that's Melissa George as the character "Camilla" in one of our all-time favourite films, David Lynch's Mulholland Drive, lip-synching to the Linda Scott recording -- not Linda Scott herself. You can find loads of vids of actual Linda Scott on YouTube...

Yes; there is a good amount of material out there, I had just quickly grabbed the first vid that popped up on You Tube for a quick reference to the song. I usually try to do a more authentic/accurate depiction when I post music. Sorry bout that, everybody.

No criticism intended! A good pick, actually, for an example of her vocal style -- which you encapsulated brilliantly with that "peppermint" line. :)

Thank You @BaseballGames truly appreciated, it’s a pleasure to meet you btw, thanks very much for the likes & comments. Linda is totally like peppermint candy, at least that’s the metaphor I get/feel whenever I play her records.
