    Hi all

this was something else i bought in a lot at a local auction

thought it was a pottery piece, given the glaze

but its made of plaster or chalkware

he's quite handsome and lazy though, and quite charming

cant seem to find anything similar

anyone have an idea of age of the piece ?

    any thoughts appreciated

Maybe a souvenir based on a lion from the tomb Pope Clement XIII by Antonio Canova.
