Little Clay vase maker and Signature help

    Hi everyone!
    I bought this little 4 1/4" tall vase today at the Ukrainian thrift I go to.
    A pinkish color clay with glazed white interior, carved. and painted.
    It was only .49 cents. So not a great loss if it turns out to yard sale material.
    The artist didn't have room for his signature, so it continues onto the side.
    I can read the top is Arte, and the bottom is D H H.
    Maybe Mexican or South American?
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
