Little costume brooch

Any idea where/when/who? Beads of black are plastic, metal likely plated. Came in a thrift lot years ago, always wondered.

 

Elegant little brooch. Are the gold bits beads or crimps? If they are crimps I think that dates it as fairly modern but I don’t know exactly when they became popular to use.
Is that a mark in the middle of the clasp?

 

I've got that very brooch! Mine has brown beads. Bought new in the USA, I think in the late 80s or early 90s.
