little German guy?

    Hello,


    Can someone help me with more information about this little guy?
    lelorkastenmann is written very faded on the box and 15.80 but thats it.

    I purchased him for £10 today from an antique dealer i believe hes German.

    There was a hurdy gurdy man from Bulgaria that frequented Frankfurt Germany back in the 1990s, he was very comedic and could speak almost any language. He also had a monkey marionette and was brilliant at animating it including the vocals.

    I am a dolly collector,not my usual area but come across things like this ... he's 60s or 70s . No idea who made him,he's a souvenir type thing ... value minimal

    And I just checked definition. Not a hurdy-gurdy which I've been both mis-using and mis-pronouncing all these years. Will stick to "street organ" in future.
