Little oriental pot

    Hi, any thoughts on this little pot, I think it is Bone, probably Chinese. Thoughts on age etc, someone did say they thought it was produced for the tourist market. I bought it 20+ years ago in a junk shop in essex, think we paid a fiver for it, and it's just sat on the shelf since then.

    Looks like resin to me. See all the bubbles on the bottom?

    So do I.
    Chinese resin 'Hotei' (Japanese term generally used for the fat laughing 'Buddha') and wood, maybe bone body. Exported in containerloads along with feng shui calendars, etc.
