    Hello there,

I picked up these beautiful glazed Chinese pots from the antique markets in Amsterdam and I would love to know the maker, age and their potential worth. Or even what they are. Are they vases, storage containers? No idea.....

The seller was unable to give me specific details so I was a bit reluctant to purchase them, but they are simply beautiful, so I couldn't resist in the end.

Hoping someone here can help me.

Thanks in advance, and happy holidays from Amsterdam, NL.Best wishes for the new year.

    L :)

I think they are nice quality but not old - lets see a pic of the underside and a detail shot of the paintwork please.

    Hi Blooey,

Here's a pic of the underside. I put some flowers in there so it was a rushed photo.

Also, it's almost midnight so I'll upload some more detailed pictures tomorrow.

    Thanks for your help :)

The pic of the base confirms my suspicions Luke, The jars are good quality but very new, 21st c.

Welcome Luke. They make the new ones to look like the old ones. Here is a good place to learn how to spot the older ones.

You didn't give size, but if they are as tall as the paper towels, then they are canisters.
