    Hi All!

I bought these small figurines. They looked interesting. Can anyone tell me more about them?
(They’re quite heavy in relation to their size) Any info is welcome!

Thank you! I didn’t want to clean them too much; thinking they might be old. In relation to question: metal or stone. I assumed metal, then started doubting. But, looked again: pretty sure they’re their metal. I’ll enjoy reading up on them:)

Does a magnet stick to them? :)

I should have thought of this! Haha. No, doesn’t stick. But, that also means they could be brass, right. (Also ‘caus of the weight.) IMG_1357.jpeg IMG_1357.jpeg

Thank you. Just moved -temporary- village. Wondered into the local thrift shop- looking to find some books. They hade amazing stuff. I also bought a set of cups- that I love. I made a post on the ‘ceramic pottery forum’. Hoping to find info. I’ll see if I can share a link.

The coloration makes them look more like bronze, rather primitively, cast in sand. I don't think these are very old and are probably souvenirs. @Robert Walker I will go to pottery to look for your cups.

The other examples I found were described as "bronze", which would not be magnetic.
