    Hi all.

Just found this site, which I'm happy about..
Looking for any info on this vase that belonged to my mom..I believe it is Japanese. Going to post pics, if I can. I know it's old and looks hand done.. The mark on the bottom is in 2nd pic.. The design on either side of vase is different that the other.. Thank you for any info.. IMG_0164.jpg IMG_0165.jpg

Interesting decor and I do believe likely Japanese, but can you take a couple more pictures against a plain light colored background, please? Maybe a white sheet?

The vase with the blanket is definitely an eye-popping combo!

It may be eye popping but it makes it very hard to clearly see the vase :(

Any time you photograph an object for discussion or for sale, make sure you photograph the object against a plain background. Once you look at it here yourself, you can see the problem. The eye doesn't know where to focus. Many times people photograph their object in a setting thinking it helps the buyer see it as it was used. The buyer will already know how they want to use it so you don't need to do that either. Just a tip from a long-time seller.
