    Hi all,
I'll be honest I don't know anything about antiques in the slightest. But I've come across something I'm hoping someone could shed some light on for me.

I've recently found an old wooden barrel tankard. It has a stamp of a Cupid in a shield and1624 but I can't find any information on the stamp.

I'm unable to upload a picture as it's too large

Any information on this would be welcome. Thank you for your time.

Thank you guys. Would anyone have a clue of how much something like this would be worth or be pointed in the direction of someone that could tell me. You guys have been very helpful. Thank you very much.

Recently picked up one of those in a lot at an auction and knew nothing about it, but apparently these were popular Edwardian presentation tankards, ca 1900 and later, and they have a little bit of value. Oak staves, silverplate.

Try to Google "oak stave tankard English silver" https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1...104.27j1......1....1..gws-wiz-img.yxiltvZgSak
and you'll see various types pop up. That's about all I got.

Couldn't tell you what makes one more valuable than the rest.
