I have this painting and have tried for years to get some information about it with no success Do any of you have any ideas? It looks like the last name is Ruiz but I have had no luck finding it and I am not sure of the first initial.

    Hello and welcome.

Your painting is Mexican and although quite appealing, is not by an artist that exhibited - therefore will not be easy to find/locate.

This is what I would describe as decorative art.

Hi @trishann13 and WELCOME to ANTIQUERS if you haven't been welcomed before!!! At least not by me!!:):) I'm sure what @blooey says is true, and with it in the frame, it's hard to tell if that's a J or a T first initial, also!!

    Hi @trishann13

It is pretty, but a print... You can tell by the dot pattern. Sorry :(
