Hello, my name is Bobbie Joe. We have recently relocated to Wisconsin. My true love is my spinning wheels. I have an E. S. Williams, a vintage wheel from Germany and yesterday I got a new wheel. She is a super slanty.
I believe the new wheel is an antique. She is stamped.
We also have antique clocks plus a few vintage. Picked up a cast iron clock yesterday also.

My phone does not give me an option to resize. I downloaded this from my Ravelry page. IMG_20170827_175922_medium2.jpg

    Greetings, Bobbie Joe!

Another of our members @Rayo56 has a spouse who spins her own yarn (if I recall correctly.)

Thank you, I love to spin. I have not used this wheel yet. I love to use my E.S. Williams. She spins so beautifully.
My vintage wheel from Germany is okay to spin on.

It is a beautiful wheel, and it is so good you use them.

I would like to find out more about this new one. I am told that most likely she has Scandinavian origins. But as for now that is all I know.
She is the first wheel that I have seen the captive rings on.

What ratio is the new wheel - looks to be for spinning thinner yarns.

That I cannot tell you. I have not put any drive belt on her yet.

Oh, OK. We just use butchers twine to make drivebands. We just measure what is needed then sew the ends together. 3 of my wife's wheels (2 Kromski & and an antique CREEN that I rebuilt for her) are double drive and her KIWI was the single drive that she learned on. When she gets home I'll have her look at your wheel - she might know about it. She's on Ravalry too.

My E.S. Williams and this new one are both duel drives. The German wheel is a single drive.
Cool. That is the first place I went to for information. I haven't seen any post that can help identify her maker.
