Featured Lovely Asian cup trying to ID

    Hey folks, happy Saturday!

    I picked up this lovely cup and saucer at the thrift store from the 10 cent isle that nobody probably wanted for a while. It's quite large and perfect for my morning coffee, but just curious if anyone recognizes this mark or is it some modern hobbyist work :)
    I like the handle a lot, rest is okay ;)

    Height of the cup approx. 6 cm (2.4 inches) and diameter of the saucer approx. 14 cm.

    Oh, I think it's a Edme Samson mark used on Chinese export reproductions, but not sure what that means and how old it could be.

    These days, it seems that everything people can't otherwise identify is Edme Samson.

    Yes, looks like the Edme Samson mark, but that gilding is pretty recent.
