    Hello everyone,

I have bought this lovely jardiniere. I love the pictures of angels. Unfortunately there is a crack line on the side and a very tiny chip on the one of foot.

    Dimension : 40 cm x 17 cm / 21cm height
    Base: 20 cm x 17 cm

I am just wondering about more details of it. I can see the mark at the bottom 1934 120 and center I guess has written 1099 D P b If you know anything about it please share with me.

Many thanks again for your knowledge.

It looks UBER CLEAN, although the hairline cracks appear to have some age grime in them. Not sure what to think about that! The decoration on the side end shown was applied sideways. I'm not sure it's terribly old. Some others who know more about pottery will come along to chime in soon.. hang on! :cat:

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

It also somehow looks like someone might have applied their own blue high gloss paint to it?????? Which shows up more when you click on the full size of the images. It's a beautiful looking piece, but is looking like a sloppy paint job around the edges....sadly.....too bad for that slight crack too!!! BUT, love the brightness of the colors!! And the transfers of the images (cherubs, bow, quiver and flowers) are very nice!!
