Nice additions on the back. His first solo museum exhibit was in 1958 so this is quite an early work.

I think its fantastic. Id have to keep that one! hes a very well known artist,it might behoove you to contact a few auction houses.
It came from the estate sale of Reneta Keep, artist from Virginia Beach. She personally bought it from Nesbitt in 1962. The painting was done in 1955 just when Nesbitt graduated of Tyler School Of Art. Wonder if that’s him on the photo?
