Luk statue and one more

    Hi
    These statues are quiet heavy and wood base. No screws attaching base to the statue.
    The statue seems to be moulded ? Or some sort of mood has been used. Don’t think it is made of plastic.

    First figure, third pic, I think I can see a couple of blobs at the back. I cast things in resin so I know these are a sign of that. You can buy all sorts of things to mix with resin to give a certain finish. I haven’t heard of ivory dust being used but it wouldn’t surprise me.

    Yes, they are resin, but of a nice quality.
    The fancy word is ivorine, but that only means it resembles ivory, not that ivory dust was used. The material is 100% artificial.
