Could anybody point me in the right direction as to identifying the type of glaze used in this large vase and also, possibly the maker of it? Any help will be greatly appreciated. It measures 16" height. glaze.jpg glaze1.jpg glaze2.jpg glaze3.jpg glaze4.jpg glaze5.jpg glaze6.jpg glaze7.jpg

You might try iridescent glaze as a search term.

I'm wondering if you might find a maker under the felt on the base, or, at least maybe a better look at the body material.

It also looks like it probably had (or has) a lid.

I agree it’s missing a lid. Might be Korean.

Not bad! I looked up iridescent and the definition is "showing luminous colors that seem to change when seen from different angles".

It's just that searching the term iridescent should give you more hits :)

It looks like iridescent seashell, but it's a glaze. Nice thing!
