Featured Lutz & Weiss 835S silver cigarette case help with age and cleaning

I spotted this little very tarnished cigarette case in the glass case at a thrift/antique store. It was priced $40. The clerk took it out of the case and as I am looking at the mark with my loupe he mentions they think it is silver but couldn't find a mark.
So he gave it to me half off. $20.00 USD.
I am pretty sure the mark is for Lutz & Weiss Crescent, crown 835 S the last I couldn't make out the writing in a crest.
It is 3 1/2" x 3" and 2.7 oz Gold flashed inside and monogramed K B
I was hoping someone might know the age of this.

I'd think it was early Art Deco given the geometric motif. Could be wrong.
