Featured made in france gilt/glass costume jewelry necklace

hi folks

something i found today, nothing precious but thought it had a nice look to it

i think gilt brass and glass stone

was wondering age and style really

stamped made in france to back of pendant

any thoughts appreciated

 

Really pretty, love the ornate chain. I'm not sure of the age --actually older or a vintage revival piece?

Would think the "Made in France" stamp might help date it, but at a of a loss other than to say very nice!

Wonder if @kyratango would have any ideas?

That's lovely.
I wouldn't put it any later than the 1960s. But really think it is much earlier.

From the style, I'd say romantic revival 60/70s, but just a feeling

found one with a similar mark/look, stating victorian, but that doesnt make it true though of course

Not Victorian, but I do think it looks between the wars. It's short for a start.

It does, and it makes the bail of the pendant stand out more. I like the way the crest of it sticks out at the top.
