It sure looks like it wants to be D&E Juliana but I think this is not because of the pin on the back. Is there a specific name for the ribbed glass stones? Who could this be done by? TYIA

I would steer clear of using online selling sites for ID help. Anyone can list any item and call it whatever they want. Please try to verify this independently of online sellers!

That said I wouldn't be surprised if it is D&E. I will try my Pitman book and get back to you :)

I might be wrong, but I remember reading somewhere that Juliana never used the "V" shaped clasp.. one of the traits of being Juliana is that the clasp has a pin stop- does yours have one ? Does your brooch has one ? I can't figure it from the picture..

It is not in Pitmans book, but there is a similar pin. Here is the photo. They call the stone "molded or cut", not much help!

Thank you It is such a lovely piece

This is why I ask to confirm I don't want to just be a follower and list as someone else that made the mistake did!!

Strikes me that calling it a "fantasy cut" would be acceptable. When you look up "fantasy cut" images.... they run the gamut from a cut like yours to any number of odd shapes...
