Hello, would anyone know the name of the maker and pattern of this glass DSC00010 (639x640).jpg . They are a light yellow and 6.5" tall. Thank you! DSC00009 (1) (640x640).jpg

It's 'Depression Glass,' probably in one of Gene Florence's books. The cutting on it probably does not have a name, though the foot looks as if it might be identifiable, not my period of study.

This helped to give me direction, thank you for the clues. I dug around and believe that this 12 oz tumbler is topaz depression glass, made by Hocking and wheel etched.

Looks like good id but the decoration is a gray(unpolished) cutting not an acid etch. Could have been decorated by any decent decorating shop.

I looked in HMW2 and it's difficult to tell for sure, but the foot looks closer to yours in the catalog reprint in the book. The book put 4 catalog pages on a single book page so the reprint is very small, but it does appear to show lines radiating from the stem with blocks.

BTW, Standard Glass was a subsidiary of Hocking.

OK, so this would be etched Standard Glass. Thank you all for the help!

No, NOT etched, it's cut and unpolished, often referred to as gray cut. Etching uses acid, this was cut with a wheel.
