Maker's Mark on baroque Pearl 14k earrings

Hello all.

I found a nice pair of pearls set into 14k gold studs. There is a makers mark but I can't find a match. Looks like a mirrored C inside an oval.

 

Most likely the mark of the findings company that made the gold pieces and not the earrings.

 

Not likely to be Chanel.

 

It's the (random and anonymous most likely) maker of the earring hardware. It looks like the original backs have stayed with the earrings for once. They're not old; those look like baroque freshwater pearls. They could have been made anywhere.

 

still, they're very nice..........
