Makers mark?

    Hi,
    I've been searching high and low and can't find anything on this sterling silver ring makers mark. It appears to be a C inside brackets. Also stamped Sterling and '7' for size. Anyone seen this mark before? image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

    Very nice ring, Art Deco style and period.
    Maybe an e? 7 is a North American size, so that tells you where to look.
